I've visited many recovery centers because of a close friend who is struggling. Out of all the places I've been, Dream Center for Recovery has been the absolute best. The staff is unbelievable, providing my friend with the tools and support she needs on her path to recovery. I am beyond grateful for this Center because it is changing the life of someone who is so important to me.

Finding a place for a loved one during the chaos of a crisis can be challenging. If your reading this ... you are most likely there. I had experiences in the past with recovery centers for a loved one, but this time I was searching for a dual diagnosis center. Mental health recovery plus addiction recovery I found, through a connection from a recovery center, Josh McBride and the process started. In January Josh started communicating with my loved one in an effort to encourage recovery. It was a very challenging process since we were in the midwest states and Josh and Dream Center for Recovery is in Florida. Weeks of chaotic drama and lots of prayers Josh was on the phone with me daily offering encouragement and reassurance. NEVER giving up. I could not have gotten through the process without Josh guiding me. In mid March it happened. Plane tickets were bought and in a very emotional day my beautiful loved one boarded a plane, made a connecting flight and landed in Florida to begin the recovery process. Melia (sorry if it is misspelled) took care of the intake. Brian Hannan the patient liaison is available for any questions. This facility has taken very very good care of my loved one. My loved one was very ill, frail and a mess. Dream Center was very attentive and called me an informed me with everything medically that was happening with my loved one. Appropriate medication was administered and for the first time in a long time .... the chaos had stopped. They are teaching my loved one to live again. To enjoy life at the beach and with animals and other activities. This was a struggle for my loved one. That's why help just for addiction would not have been enough. My loved one struggles with many other issues besides addiction. Bonnie Mathews a therapist has been wonderful at encouraging and guiding daily. She had been open and answered any questions I have had regarding my loved one. She is no nonsense and straightforward. I appreciate her effort in communication. This facility lives up to its name Dream Center for Recovery. It's been a dream come true for us at this time. THEY CARE. It will be up to my loved one to continue sobriety and manage the mental illness. Dream Center has provided a great ground work for that process.

I originally went to Dream Center in 2015 and returned a few times after some relapses so I have a lot of experience there. The staff there is absolutely amazing. I have been to multiple treatment centers in Florida and I can honestly say I would not recommend anybody anywhere else besides Dream Center. They genuinely care about your recovery and your well being. I was able to have my mom come down and do family therapy with her, I was able to grieve with the horses and councilors, I was able to participate in groups and open up and work on myself. I had such an amazing experience at Dream Center I actually planned a trip to Florida just to go back there to visit the amazing staff after I had a year of being sober. I am going on almost 2 years now and life is amazing and it all started with Dream Center. Me and my family are forever thankful for this place and the staff.

Dream Center for Recovery (DCR) has helped me throughout my journey to recovery. I am currently one year sober and I owe it all to the staff at DCR. DCR has taught me coping skills and how to make my life manageable without the use of drugs or alcohol. From weekly massages to daily group therapy, this place has so much to offer in one's recovery. The accommodations were more than expected. The rooms are clean, the fridge is stocked and the rec center is filled with activities. There's a chef on site. All foods are baked, nothing is fried. Should you be a vegetarian/vegan, they accommodate. The outside therapy functions (Agriculture & Equine Therapy) were excitingly interesting and helpful. Having had a fear of all animals when I first arrived at DCR, by the end of my journey at the facility, I became one with the animals by washing and walking the horses. Every Sunday is adventure therapy. This is one of the features they have to include you in normalcy during your recovery process. I would definitely and have already recommended DCR in those in need of recovery. I like to take this minute and thank DCR for guiding me in the right direction. I appreciate all that you have assisted me with.

It was not easy at first but it never is! This is by far the best rehab I have ever been too! The staff really do care. Usually it is all about your money but here it isn't. They were there for me whenever I needed to talk or was going through hard times(which for me was almost every other day). They even helped me with things outside of my addiction like a lot of family issues and relationships and got stuff set up for when I left. Everything they did they went above and beyond. I would recommend dream center for anyone who is truly serious...or even on the fence about getting help.You learn a lot about how to live when you get out, they have financial classes to help you manage money,family sessions(only if you want them) and so much more!

In April 2015 my son hit rock bottom. Within 5 days he totalled his car, was arrested on DUI charges, I found him near death on his bedroom floor, he was admitted to the psych center at our local hospitol and I wanted to simply die to make it all go away. I was lost, my son was lost and all hope was lost. By chance I spoke to Andrew Simpson from Dream Center for Recovery and he handed me new hope with an open heart. Andrew let me know that recovery and rehab was not just for the rich and guests of the Dr. Phil show. Recovery was for people who wnated help, who wanted to recover. Andrew and all of the wonderful supportive staff at Dream Center took over from that moment on. They took care of the insurance, detox arrangements, flight arrangements, EVERYTHING to make this new beginning for our family possible. My son was surrounded by caring, knowledgeable people who are VERY familiar with the personalities and nuances of the addicted. They made him whole again through counseling, healthy eating, exercise and new friendships. My son has been clean 20 months now. He has a full time job, a car, a healthy realtionship with a young lady, an apartment and even a dog! I continue to pray for my son every day but I never forget to add to my prayers the people at Dream Center For Recovery who helped save my sons life. Thank you!!!!!

Dream Center for Recovery came to our rescue last year when my son was homeless and literally at rock bottom. Andrew got my son down to Florida and on the road to recovery. The staff is so supportive and they give you the right tools to help yourself. I cannot express enough how wonderful Dream Center is. With so many "bad" places around it is good to know that there are actually people that have the clients best interests at heart.
